In the mid-1950s, artist Art Clokey began experimenting with a

new form of animation -- manipulating bits of moldable clay frame by frame to create imaginative short films.  He and his wife Ruth developed a character named Gumby, who along with his trusty sidekick horse Pokey, began appearing regularly on "The Howdy Doody Show." Their own show, "The Adventures of Gumby," made its debut in 1957, and before long the duo and its family of characters became a staple of children's television.  Over Jupiter is proud to feature the Incredible Bendable Gumby on a range of apparel products.
